Late at night on September 20, 2022, a 12-year-old girl and her father was found in their homes with apparent bullet wounds. Allegedly, the 12-year-old girl had shot her father and then killed herself. Texan police say the girl was plotting with her friend to kill their family members. The girl was shot in the head and the father in the abdomen.
Due to the age of the juveniles and injuries, a lot of information is hidden.
What we do know, however, is that the girl who fired the shots was from Weatherford and the her friend is from Lufkin, which is relatively far away. The other girl planned to murder her father but decided against it. The Sheriff's Office accuses the Lufkin girl of criminal conspiracy in an alleged murder plot that Lufkin police will investigate.
