Media on Shinzo Abe - An Update

In the assassination of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, it is discovered that the 'religious organization' the assassin, Tetsuya Yamagami, had previously mentioned as his motive for the murder was the Unification Church. Yamagami claimed that Abe had affiliations with the church, but the church responded by saying that they had no direct involvement with Abe, although he supported their global peace movement.

After the death of Shinzo Abe, the entire world began to talk about his past and stances. He was described as far-right, Trump before Trump, and nationalistic. At least in Western media, he is.

Abe is renowned worldwide as a highly influential and pragmatic leader in Japanese history. While many of his shared values were not taken too well by many onlookers of Japan's politics, even Japanese people themselves. Many mourned his death, and the Japanese were shocked that Abe's death came to him so morbidly— in Japanese terms.

Despite Abe's views and actions, many still mourn and honor his death.

Stay tuned for further news on this matter.
